I know this is a long way away and I am assuming an invite from Jack.

My dad secured 6 tickets for Friday-Sunday, and I will hopefully follow Mike all three days with a review post game for sure. Followed his 2nd round last year as well.

Post game review? ....why not in real-time, I'm pretty sure the PGATour now allows PDAs on the course so long as there's no picture taking, video recording or ringing noise of any kind.

What service provider would a Canadian use in the US? I didn't think my Cogeco would work over there. Also buying temporary service is not cheap.

Valid points and good questions I hadn't considered. I guess I just suppossed weirsyowns1 was a US resident and/or already had an existing data plan.

Sorry, wasn't looking to add financial burden to our fellow board member, just excited in the potential for better and more detailed PBP :)

I live in S. Ontario and went to the Memorial last year with my daughter. I went thru the process to buy a mobile modem and U.S. Airtime. It would have cost me over $100.00. Needless to say I provided a report of Mike's first nine the next day from notes I had made during the round.
Sorry, I wasn't trying to be difficult, but I knew the answer from experience.

...well yes, myself also living in S. Ontario and having just come back from a Myrtle Beach golfing vaca, I too am familiar with the high cost of US data plans Canadian providers gouge us with when we go down south....but again I was assuming that perhaps weirsyowns1 was a US resident or had an existing data plan down south via business or friends/family he was going to use.

Anyways, no biggie ;) whatever weirsyowns1 can give us above and beyond CDW would be much appreciated.

....though now my interest is piqued, weirsyowns1, you wanna jump in here and let us know where you're from and by which data means/plan you are intending to use :?: :?: :?: :?:

:D Thanks

is practically out. If you haven't frequent the boards in the past few months, I'm in my final year of high school. My dad has business friends that get free tickets each year but aren't exactly avid golf fans, so my dad asks for a few each year and we usually go down. Last year I followed Mike's full second round with Cabrera and Na.

As per communication, I'll probably take my laptop and or iPad. We usually stay at a hotel that has WiFi so it shouldn't be a problem to report it.

No harm done. Actually my dad has another business phone with a U.S. plan for when he makes trips. I'll have to check if it has data though.
