A number of guys heading south this week. PGA Tour "opposite" event in Puerto Rico - Ames, GDL, Hearn and Fritsch are in the field.

As noted in the web.com thread, that bunch is headed for Santiago, Chile - Hadwin, Hill, Scott, Sloan and Yip are in the field, Evanecz is 10th alternate.

No Canuck content at Doral - can't wait for at least one of our guys to make it into the top 50 so we get representation in the WGC events again.

No Euro events scheduled opposite the WGC.

No LPGA event scheduled.

Just curious why Mike would not play in Puerto Rico?

Evanecz up to 4th alternate - I wonder how late a notice would be workable for making the trip all the way down there.

Not listed under player commitments on the tournament website yet.

http://www.arnoldpalmerinvitational.com ... ayers.html

Only 79 players listed - the field will be 120 so there is lots of room for additions - but so far no Canuck content. Last year Mike was the only Canuck and he missed the cut by 2.
